Reheating Instructions
Posa’s tamales are fully cooked. We suggest the following methods for reheating and serving:
1. Boil-in-bag heating instructions. Bring 5 quarts of water to a full boil in a large pot and submerge theunopened sealed bag for 30 minutes or until the tamales reach 140°F.
2. Use a steamer or a pot with a vegetable colander placed above the water. Steam the tamales in the sealed bag or open to reheat individual tamales in the colander. All other heating methods will dry out the tamales.
Once the tamales are hot, they may be enjoyed as is or smothered in red or green chile with melted cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese on top.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes! Our beans, calabacitas and rice are vegetarian and can be used in burritos, tacos, enchiladas, or all on their own. Both our red and green chiles are vegetarian as well. Our vegan tamales are another good option, and contain NO ANIMAL product.
Do you have any gluten free options?
Yes! Our tamales are all gluten free. Our chiles are made with a corn starch rue, and we do not use flour. We also have corn tortillas for tacos, huevos rancheros, or on the side.
